Mysql 4.1 in VS2010 (no replies)

Hi,
I've searched in forum, find nothing about this
I read the documentation about mysql connector net, but still I'm not sure about a problem I have.

I need to develop a project in VisualStudio 2010, and I hav a problem with mysql 4.1 version, no problem with entity framework on mysql 5.0, but
using mysql4.1 I cannot figure a way to create an entity framework model in VS 2010.

so...questions:
is it possible to create entity framework edmx in VS2010 on a database mysql4.1?

any way to work with entity framework with mysql version prior to 5.0?
